I have a house approx. 15 miles North of xcalak and I can tell you that the leaky palapa is the best restaurant in town. The girls always have something new and exciting to try and the food is always fresh. As far as Costa de Cocos goes I have never stayed there but spent a few evenings and afternoons there and the pizza is great as close to New York as you can get down there, and Dave Randall , one of the owners is so friendly and helpful that I would tell any of my friends looking for a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle to check it out. Another little restaurant to try is Yamiras in town. She has some odd hours but the food is good and the prices are reasonable which alot of tourist really find to be important. Glad to see someone is keeping tabs on Xcalak. Cioa!!
